Men. How to get rid of wrinkles on the face?

In a dynamic society such as ours, it is important to adapt to emerging trends. Women have done an excellent job of adapting to the constantly changing social conditions and customs. Every day it becomes more important to stay healthy, and we can see how this trend has grown globally in recent years.

Beauty, as we know, is a subjective concept which depends on the perspective of everyone. Regardless of this, physical beauty has been increasingly standardized. This is no different in the male.

Some defend physical beauty as the most important factor when it comes to attracting women, others intelligence and many value money. But in addition to the sentimental sphere, these three attributes are decisive in two other important aspects of life: the professional and the social.

An intelligent man will almost always stand out, hence the importance of reading. A fit man emanates confidence and health, hence the importance of exercising and eating properly. A clean and neat man will also be viewed positively by the people in his environment; for this reason, we have to give the proper importance to personal care.

Nowadays we see that man takes more care in his appearance and health in general; and although the competition is a somewhat difficult, we can also appreciate the subjectivity of the concept of beauty for our own good. With regular care of our health it should already include a series of actions that in an integral way helps us to see ourselves and feel more handsome.

Premature wrinkles in men

Facial aging causes loss of elasticity and skin consistency, resulting in sagging and loss of firmness. Each individual lives the process of aging in a different way, but the truth is that when a person decides to undergo a facial rejuvenation treatment, he or she always seeks to regain the expressiveness and firmness of his face.

It is normal that the first signs of expression begin to appear when people reach 30 years. In general, men resort to facial aesthetics at age 50 and women in their 40s.

Wrinkles are an unpleasant part of the natural aging process. They are shadows or fine lines that form on the skin, mainly on the face and neck. Wrinkles are the result of a gradual decrease in the levels of collagen and elastin in the skin that occurs naturally with age, causing it to lose its elasticity. Wrinkles can also form prematurely as a result of poor nutrition, stress, and sudden weight loss. One of the biggest causes of wrinkles is exposure to the sun, therefore, we must not forget daily sunscreen use.

The best way to treat wrinkles is to prevent their appearance, with the use of creams and mainly, the constant use of the sunscreen. We can also use natural remedies to prevent and get rid of wrinkles.

Simple natural remedies to maintain the skin with more youthful appearance:

- Milk and Honey

Milk and honey is an ancient combination, with anti-wrinkle properties tracing its roots back to the ancient pharaohs. Modern science now recognizes the effectiveness of this remedy: milk is rich in lactic acid, a type of alpha-hydroxy acid that deeply cleans the pores, removes debris from the skin and stimulates the secretion of collagen. Honey is rich in moisturizing compounds, which promote the absorption and retention of moisture in the skin. This helps keep the skin hydrated and increases its elasticity.

Do this: Combine one tablespoon of honey with half a tablespoon of organic milk in a mixture. Massage this mixture into your skin and leave for 10 minutes. Rinse with warm water.

- Lemon juice and sugar exfoliant

Lemon juice is rich in citric acid, an organic and totally natural acid, with strong exfoliating properties that help to reduce wrinkles. It cleans your skin of dead cells from the outer layer, revealing a softer and more flexible layer that is below the dead layer. It is also rich in vitamin C, which is essential for the production of collagen. Sugar contains glycolic acid, which is a type of alpha-hydroxy acid that helps repair skin damage and elimination of dead cells.

Do this: Mix one teaspoon of sugar in two spoons of lemon juice, mixing well. Gently massage the solution into the skin, using the tips of the fingers, being careful to avoid the eye area. After 10 minutes, wash with cold water.

- Egg Mask

The egg is a temporary but popular remedy to get rid of wrinkles naturally. Egg whites have astringent properties that temporarily close the pores and tighten the skin, helping to diminish the wrinkled appearance.

Do this: To use this remedy, separate the egg whites from two organic eggs and mix well. Apply this mixture to the face, leaving it for about 20 minutes. Wash with cold water.

Nutritional supplements

Vitamins are an effective and natural anti-wrinkle remedy that not only help in the treatment, but also promote a younger and healthier skin tone. B vitamins, in particular, have potent antioxidant properties and can be obtained from dietary sources such as organic meat, eggs and whole wheat. Vitamins A, C and E are also natural anti-oxidants for the skin, and can be obtained from green leafy vegetables and fresh fruits.

Facial rejuvenation

It is essential that we fully address the signs and symptoms of aging skin before having any type of problem, i.e. prevention rather than cure. This prevention is going to be much less harmful to our body than an intervention, it will be much more economic and, in summary, its effects will be more natural.

Due to the nature of aged skin, there have been a plethora of emerging facial rejuvenation treatments that are used by the public, each with its own use and value to the individual. Depending on the age, we can use different types of treatments; We should also consider ethnicity, habits, genetics and other factors such as exposure to the sun. After years of experience, there is no doubt how useful many facial rejuvenation treatments are.

Traditional cosmetic surgery has evolved towards less invasive surgery for patients. But the trend towards less invasive, less risky and holistic treatments has been growing in recent years. More comfort and less risk, along with avoiding the passage through the operating room, do not disagree with obtaining visible results for our face.

There are many types of Facial Rejuvenation applicable to men:

- Nutrition and natural remedies

- Skin products (creams and serums)

- Chemical peels

- Radiofrequency and dermabrasion

- Botox® and Fillers

- Plasma Rich in Platelets (PRP)

- Cosmetic Acupuncture

- Facial Exercises

- Electro stimulation with microcurrents (Myolift)

- Others

Each of these treatments comes with its pros and cons, and it will be the physician's responsibility to know which one will be most appropriate for the individual.

In my experience, an integral approach to the problem has been extremely effective in achieving superior results in a more natural and holistic way. In this sense, we must take preventive action and tackle the problem in depth; and at the same time, we can use the techniques that most agree in a synergistic way.

The Integrative Facelift™, for example, uses Cosmetic Acupuncture, Myolift and Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) in a synergistic way to achieve dramatic effects without the need to use toxins, chemicals or surgery. It is, in my opinion, the best option available today as the need for a holistic, more natural facial rejuvenation has increased over time.

The last option: botox or surgery

Why is botox the last option? Have you seen the results of the application on anyone? You are right. In exaggeration, botox and surgery leave that plastic and stretched appearance, making it clear that there was a medical intervention for the aesthetic treatment of wrinkles. We know that the most annoying wrinkles are the crow’s feet and the wrinkles around the mouth, and those are the main areas treated with botox. With a good aesthetic doctor and weighted use of the substance, you can even get satisfactory results. But nothing is better than good prevention and more natural and integrative treatments to avoid having to use multiple chemicals or treatments for the face.
